I offer online psychotherapy and psychoanalysis, as well as psychiatric consultation and medication treatment via a secure video connection, using Zoom.
- Online sessions make it convenient for you to meet with me from a setting that is comfortable for you, whether you are at home, work, or traveling. This flexibility makes it easier for us to have regular meetings and to maintain continuity and productivity.
- Having practiced in an office for more than 25 years, I fully appreciate the depth of conversation that meeting in person can facilitate, and I strive to duplicate this level of understanding and relatedness in my work via online video.
- I will be happy to discuss with you what I have learned in several years of working via telehealth about approaches to the sessions that help optimize our focus and the depth of our discussions, to ensure you will have a satisfying and effective experience. Sessions are most productive when you are able to:
- take a few moments prior to each online meeting to shift your focus away from your work or home situation, to reflect on what you would most like to address in your session
- meet from a quiet and confidential location
- minimize distractions during sessions

- Most people find that after a few online sessions, we reach a level of familiarity and comfort that is similar to meeting in person, and the video connection is not a concern at all. And there is no stress from dealing with traffic or parking!
- The online sessions will be conducted using a completely confidential video connection, established for HIPAA compliant telehealth.
- I am available to treat patients residing anywhere in California, Florida, or New York. Due to licensing laws, I cannot work with people residing in other states.
